To follow the work of Jonathan Mess in its museum tour of the past 3 years is to evoke feelings of hiking Maine's Coast. The Earth's crust is layered in striking formations revealing a history of rigorous maneuvers.

Currently included in DeCordova New England Biennial 2019, Jonathan Mess was a part of Center for Maine Contemporary Art's exhibit "Materiality: The Matter of Matter" in 2017 and Portland Museum of Art's Biennial in 2018.
