From the artist: "I have been very involved in working with the combination of Terra Cotta and Terra Sigillata to make vessels of all sorts for a few years. For me, the natural warmth of a vessel made from earthenware paired with the playful, not to mention colorful, possibilities of Terra Sigillata and its lovely burnished surfaces is 'a match made in heaven'. For me, the play between form and color is a source of great delight."
