The artist created a unique countertop as a vanity station in her parents' home. The home is down the road from us in Round Pond, Maine, so the natural pinecone and needle theme seemed like a good way to bring the outside indoors.

This tray does just the same as a portable version. Keep on the counter to contain liquids - we would love to see this as a miniature bar zone or used as a catch for olive oils and vinegars on the kitchen counter. Alternatively, carry it with you wherever your snack or supplies need to go.

The tray was purchased from a secondhand store and given a new life. Isn't it so wonderful to see things being reimagined and reused rather than thrown away? They don't make them like they used to except in this case.

This tray is one-of-kind, though it's art form is ancient. Mosaic art is a thousands of years old so this special piece acts as a thread pulling the past into the present.

- Measures 20" x 12" x 3"
- Reclaimed tray with metal sides and handles
- Mosaic glass

EFM Studio was founded in Brooklyn, NY, in 2012 before relocating to a home base in Round Pond, Maine. The creative force behind the bespoke design studio is none other than illustrator and artist Liz Martone.

Never afraid to mix urban edge with rural sensibilities, Liz has an overwhelming love for all things handmade. This explains her diverse exploration of mediums, which ranges from glass to wood to textiles.

A BFA in Illustration formalized Liz's passion for the arts and continues to inform her work. She creates unique designs, translating drawings and showcasing a love for patterns. Her work is exhibited in various galleries in New York and Midcoast Maine, and much of her time is spent creating custom installations for private and commercial clients.
