This uniquely faceted porcelain vessel is what happens when technology meets the handmade art of slip casting, which dates back thousands of years.

Artist Anna Queen created the mold for this vessel using a 3D printer. The minimalism and geometry of this piece rendered in clay come together to create useful art that intrigues the mind and feels good to touch.

Use as a utensil holder or office accessory, place rocks in the bottom to plant a plant, arrange cut flowers, drink a hearty stout, turn upside down to use as a display platform for an equally interesting art object - use your imagination to figure a use for this vessel just as the artist did in creating it.

- Measures 4.75" x 4"

Based in midcoast Maine, Process Goods focuses on combining  ceramic art and new technologies to create functional, minimal designs for everyday use. Each object is handmade by Anna Queen at her studio in Rockland.

Anna Queen is an interdisciplinary artist working in sculpture and video. After earning her BFA in Ceramics from Maryland Institute College of Art, Anna continued to hone her craft during residencies at the Anderson Ranch Arts Center, Vermont Studio Center, and The Banff Centre. Her work has been shown at Firecat Projects in Chicago, FAB LAB DC, The Clay Studio in Philadelphia, and Page Bond Gallery in Richmond, Virginia.

In addition to exploring the interplay between technology and traditional art, Queen’s work seeks to challenge and alter the boundaries that construct and often constrain our understanding of the spaces we inhabit and organize.
